All those hyper scaled data centers will first become ‘stranded assets’. Then blights on the landscape. Then targets.
All within the next 5 years. Or less. Probably less.
And all the ‘experts’ except those who have been reading here for years, will say nobody could have predicted the outcome.
At least the folks in the rural areas will get back their quiet nights.
I hope they get back their quiet nights. And I hope we somehow manage to keep a night sky that isn't constantly swimming in manmade lights and space debris and spent rocket fuel.
