Today’s edition is filled with twisted and deceitful plots over the weekend that go far beyond usual.

This is one of those occasional Mondays when even free subscribers will get the full edition with all headlines. Monday editions are often the most rich in news because they catch up on what happened over the weekend as well. I hope you’ll consider subscribing after you read this free gift, as it does take a lot of time each day to compile The Daily Doom. (Sorry it’s a little late getting out, but it’s a stuffed-full edition today.)

Today’s edition is loaded with twisted and deceitful plots and deep fakes. Let’s begin with the story from last month in which Elon Musk and many other billionaires and developers of Artificial Intelligence alarmed the world with a proclamation that all development of AI must be immediately halted, or AI will kill us all! They were talking the complete destruction of humanity, perhaps in just a couple of years. Now, it turns out there was more to the story than met the eye! (Or maybe less. Let’s say more twists than met the eye and possibly less truth … possibly.)

Musk, himself, seemed to be leading the effort to stop AI development or, at least, force all developers to take a major pause. This weekend, however, Musk unexpectedly announced his own rapid multi-billion-dollar entry into the intelligence race, even though he had just said the biggest problem with AI was the fact that everyone was racing to get their first without proper guardrails in place. Instead of including all those headlines that emerged over the weekend in the news this morning, I’ve placed them in a single article of my own today: “The Mad Men of Artificial Intelligence: Elon Musk Rushes Headlong in Effort to Win the AI Race!.” I did that in order to explore what these headlines really indicate about the earlier major news when you think about them all in context. I spent a good part of the weekend assembling that story, which will be part of two-to-three-part series exploring the truth of AI conspiracy to crush humanity into the dust of the earth. (So, please find thoseheadlines there for context and analysis.)

The AI story took an even darker turn over the weekend as ChaosGPT, the AI that is on task to destroy us all, boasted that humanity can never stop it from its mission and is naïve to think it can. The report in the headlines below contains an update on Chaos’s recent activity and “improved” results. However, the story I am writing today will dive into the deep fake that may be involved there as well. (I’ll link to it here tomorrow.)

The weekend news was flooded with fakes and deep fakes and maybe even fake Bidens (but who can tell?). Almost as creepy as the ongoing story of AI seeking to annihilate humanity, was a photo I saw of Joe Biden over the weekend in a mainstream news story where I thought, He looks like he’s made of plastic! Is it a younger stand-in? Did he have plastic surgery? Why does his skin look so stretched? Then what was only a tiny bit weird got really weird when I saw a video several hours later with a close up where Biden is scratching his neck, and it looks like he is scratching a latex mask that wrinkles up as he scratches it. Was the video a deep fake, or was the Biden a fake? That story, with its video, is included in the headlines below for you to see what you make of the closeup shot. In the world of deep fakes everywhere, who knows if anything you see is real. I probably wouldn’t have posted it, except that I already thought hours before when watching the mainstream news that his skin looked oddly stretched and fake.

As if fake Bidens or faked videos of Biden are not bad enough, we also have our biggest politicians creating fakes of each other to sway the public. Marjorie Taylor Greene decided to create a fake photo to blast Lindsay Graham for blasting her over her protection of the Pentagon Leaks guy, who, along with his leaked info, was the other major story of last week. MTG posted a photoshopped picture of Graham, appearing to endorse a trans celebrity by holding up a can of beer with the celeb’s mug on it when really Graham was actually holding up a mug with beer in it (and no celebrity). A joke? Maybe, but that is the world we live in where everything you see or hear on the news can be readily faked with computer assistance to where seeing can no longer be believing, even when presented by your elected politician.

Another big fake in The Daily Doom headlines today is Tuckered Carlson. His story supposedly came from the leaked docs. However, one of the documents contained in that batch got faked, and then Carlson faked the fake to make it even worse. The original leaked document showed the numbers of casualties and deaths on the Russian and Ukrainian sides of the war, with Russia getting severely whooped by Ukraine. A subsequent release doctored the numbers to more-or-less reverse the balance in Russia’s favor and is believed to be a Russian fake. Tucker Carlson, however, reported numbers that went far beyond the Russian reversal to make Russia look all-out glorious, and NO ONE, not even Carlson so far can say where on earth he got his numbers. Looks like he just said whatever popped into his head and sounded good. Fake Fox News. (And, of course, Fake Fox is in the news in a big way today as the trial of the decade gets underway over how it reported what its reporters fully believed was not real as if it might be real.)
