We the US? Or we, you and your wife? If the latter, I assume you are not counting institutional and government owners, but it sounds like you are doing pretty dang well.
Haha. Good morning. Getting older sucks. Don’t get much sleep.
The latter. Excludes institutional and govt, but included HNWI and Family offices. In relative terms it’s a lot, but more than likely not as much as most non silver owners would think.
We’ve stopped buying though. Premiums are out of control and November was the first month since 2011 where our expenses exceeded income (in fairness we did take two road trips and spent 8 nights in hotels so expenses were higher than normal) and so Gail said it might be time to take a pause. With no valid counter argument (other than a belief it’s going to 100+) I agreed. So for now we are on the sidelines for the first time in a couple decades.
I also sold 9/12 positions in shipping and all but two of the dividend stocks. And those are on the chopping block. I’ll be left with 3 shipping stocks, 12-15 miners, gold, silver, and a lot of cash. Nothing to manage now really, other than looking for (hopefully) safe brokered CD offerings with teaser rates for new customers.
Hope you are well. We went to Hickory NC for Thanksgiving. My brother lives there. Our oldest son showed up and surprised Gail. That was lovely. There are some interesting small towns around Hickory where housing is modestly priced, in relative terms. We are going to go back for an exploration weekend in March.
Sounds like, whether you buy or not, you are already in a very good position. Must have been fun having a surprise visit of your son for your wife. Very nice moment to be a part of and made Thanksgiving what it is meant to be. Does exploration weekend mean you're actually thinking of becoming a land lubber? Prices must be good!
Jery Powell needs to be given leather goods for Christmas. A boot in the ass and a glove in the mouth. Kick his liberal ass off the fed. Worthless creep!
Well, you'll never see me defending Papa Powell, but how much worse it is to out-Powell Powell with someone who says he will run the money presses (so to speak) a lot hotter than Powell and devalue the dollar as much as possible. You know he's desperate when he claimed the economy and stocks were artificial under Obama-Biden, but now he's going to run things even hotter than Powell did to push the bubbles harder.
Lots of businesses hurting and laying off, yet powell wants to keep choking off the economy, and kill the middle class. Collapse the economy so his buddy banks can scoop up cheap assets once again.
We own enough silver to be in the top 1% of silver owners in the world.
And its not enough.

Way more than you asked for. Lol

Exploration for possible future action I guess. No plans that is for sure.
