EXTRA EDITION: All Hell Breaks Loose Inside of Russia!
Putin's palaces put under protection of "Plan Fortress" against threatened Wagner coup.
The ongoing conflict The Daily Doom has been reporting on between Russia’s toughest and most successful warrior and the rest of Russia’s inept military appears today to have turned into a coup against Russia’s military leaders. It is unclear if it is against Putin as well, as Prigozhin’s words single out top military brass and the military in general for lying to Vladimir Putin before the invasion of Ukraine.
Prigozhin claims what The Daily Doom’s editorials and articles on The Great Recession Blog have been claiming from the outset of Putin’s invasion, in spite of ridicule and the cost to readership and publication, which is that Putin’s reasons for the invasion were a pretense of lies. Prigozhin blames Russia’s military brass for what he calls outright “lies” for the sole purpose of starting a war! He levels his charges after what he claims was a direct and devastating attack by Russia’s military against Wagner forces, ostensibly to shut him up from the claims he has been increasingly making against their ineptitude in this war:
Wagner Group boss Yevgeny Prigozhin on Friday cast doubt on Russian President Vladimir Putin's justifications for launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, saying they were lies fed to him by the Kremlin's top brass.
Russia's Defense Ministry has been "deceiving" Russian society and Putin, Prigozhin said in an expletive-ridden 30-minute video posted on his Telegram channel. It has escalated his public feud with Sergei Shoigu, the country's defense minister.
The Russian businessman, a longtime ally of Putin, has for months been intensifying his verbal barrage against Shoigu. Prigozhin for the first time on Friday, however, appeared to shift the narrative of the war….
"There was nothing extraordinary happening on the eve of February 24," Prigozhin said.
"The Ministry of Defense is trying to deceive the public and the president and spin the story that there were insane levels of aggression from the Ukrainian side and that they were going to attack us together with the whole NATO block," the Russian businessman said.
Prigozhin was echoing a main reason that Putin gave for justifying his decision to invade Ukraine last February—NATO expansion near Russia's border.
Prigozhin “accused military leaders of fear-mongering about a potential Ukrainian invasion that was never coming to justify launching an invasion of their own.” He also said Russia invaded Ukraine “for the self-promotion of a bunch of bastards.” In fact, in his video, he goes so far as to state, “The war was not needed in order to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine…. Ukrainian forces are pushing the Russian army out. We’re wallowing with blood!… What they are telling us is a deep fake.”
All of this intense destruction has been due to false pretenses cooked up by Russia’s own MIC! (Yes, it has a military industrial complex, too!)
To considerable criticism, editorials in The Daily Doom have maintained for over a year what I believe is true and supportable by the facts — that Putin’s justification for this war was a fake rationale from the beginning. I always ONLY write what I believe is true, even if it costs me; but now you have Russia’s only successful military leader in Putin’s War making the accusation. And, to show just how intensely and fiercely he means it, he is taking the war directly back to Russian soil to kill the perpetrators of this extremely damaging lie!
Moscow has reportedly put its security forces on high alert after Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin publicly called for “patriots” to help him stage a mutiny and stop the “evil” leading the war effort.
Within hours, the Prosecutor General’s Office announced charges against Prigozhin for attempting to incite an armed rebellion, a crime that carries a maximum penalty of 20 years behind bars….
“Today, seeing that we have not been broken, they conducted missile strikes at our rear camps,” Prigozhin said. “The council of commanders of PMC Wagner has made a decision—the evil that the military leadership of the country brings must be stopped…. “Those who destroyed our lads, who destroyed the lives of many tens of thousands of Russian soldiers, will be punished. I ask that no one offer resistance.”
…Dmitry Peskov, a spokesperson for the Kremlin, told reporters that President Vladimir Putin was aware of the “unfolding situation” and was taking “all necessary measures.”
“They neglect the lives of soldiers. They forgot the word 'justice', and we will bring it back!”
Prigozhin pulled no punches whatsoever, but went after Russia’s military commanders as fiercely as he went after Bakhmut (which he finally withdrew from this month), making it clear that Russia’s losses along fronts like Bakhmut have been due to the stupidity and corruption of its top brass:
"No one talks about thousands of destroyed tanks and armored vehicles. They don't let anyone in there [in Bakhmut], they don't show anything precisely because there are colossal problems there."
"Shoigu and Gerasimov have a simple approach: a lie needs to be monstrous to be believed in. This is what they do," Prigozhin said
Having been forced by Ukraine’s new counteroffensive to retreat from Bakhmut, Prigozhin does not blame himself for Russia’s extreme losses and its final failure to take and hold the tiny town of Bakhmut, but blames Putin’s top general, Shoigu:
Shoigu killed thousands of the most combat-ready Russian soldiers in the first days of the war," he added.
"The mentally ill scumbags decided, 'It's OK, we'll throw in a few thousand more Russian men as 'cannon fodder.' 'They'll die under artillery fire, but we'll get what we want'," the Wagner chief added. "That's why it has become a protracted war."
Prigozhin also stated earlier in the day that Putin’s generals have been lying to Putin and to the Russian people about the action on the battlefield and that Ukraine has delivered an extreme slaughter against the Russian forces.
Russia's Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu is lying to President Vladimir Putin about "colossal" battlefield failures in Ukraine, Wagner Group boss Yevgeny Prigozhin said on Thursday
The truth is finally out from sources all over the world today about the lies Putin and his own MIC have been spewing, even Russian sources, which is the truth you constantly got on the Ukraine War from The Daily Doom — the very thing you are now hearing directly from Russia’s fiercest warrior — the only one who has been winning any of the battles, though even he feels clearly defeated and has, from all appearances, decided to march back into Russia and take Putin’s War back home to those who started it on false pretenses:
"I'm asking: no one resist. Everyone who will try to resist, we will consider them a danger and destroy them immediately, including any checkpoints on our way," the Wagner chief said. "And any aviation that we see above our heads.”
“I'm asking everyone to remain calm, do not succumb to provocations, and remain in their houses. Ideally, those along our way, do not go outside."
These are clearly the words of a Wagner command that has turned on Russia’s own military and is warning the Russian people to stay out of their way as they bring “justice” back to rest where this war based on false pretenses began.
As always, the stories below support the editorial, and this time everyone is being given full access to them because of how game-changing they are for the war and corrective they are of the lies Putin was feeding to the world … according to Prigozhin, who is being careful not to bring his charges (as well as his military charge) directly against Putin, but is leveling all his guns at Russia’s top brass for deceiving Putin.
Whether Prigozhin’s accusations are fully accurate or not, this is certainly what failure and breakdown of an invading force looks like as a war falls apart!
