Has-Beens Rule the Roost

From ancient cranks the majority of America no longer wants to crumbling, old banks, we seem to be stuck with relics of the past that just won't go away!

It looks like we could be going into another one of those typical weekends when the Fed and Feds rush to band together behind closed doors to work out the latest bank-failure rescue to be announced by Monday. First Republic’s problems keep going from bad to worse, and the talk now is whether the government will do as it has so often done and join with major banksters to backstop the rescue of another failed institution. Let’s hope they just let it all burn in creative self-destruction, but they just cannot seem to stop themselves from rescuing the rickety.

Most people in America wish the two leading geriatric candidates for president would go away, too. Seventy-percent of Americans are unhappy to see sleepy, creepy Uncle Joe Biden run again. Donald the Trump runs a close second in disappointment with sixty-percent of America not wanting to see him back up to bat.

While Dems criticize Biden as being a dinosaur from an era of establishment politicians, Trump is still seen by his supporters as anti-establishment. Never mind that nearly every person Trump put in charge of finance and economics in his White House came from the upper echelons of Goldman Sachs or other ivy-league financial institutions or was a long-time member of Club Fed in high standing with the elite ruling-class Fed members — ALL as establishment in finance as you can possibly get! Never mind that nearly every person Trump put in charge of intelligence and the military for four years was the shiniest and highest military-industrial-complex brass ever seen or a career deep-state intelligence official or a lifetime warmonger like John “Bolt-head” Bolton. 

Trump drained the entire swamp into the White House basement, even giving the notorious lifetimer Dr. Fauci the biggest daily pulpit any health official has ever known. Trump boasted of creating the warp-drive vaccine delivery program that rushed dangerous experimental meds to the public, much to the massive, government-funded, financial profits of the long established Big-Pharma Corps. of America. Never mind that Trump also established the law that protects those drug kingpins from any liability because they rushed out a barely-tested, totally novel technology as an experiment upon all of humanity. Just never mind that massive multitude of facts, as well as the simple fact that billionaire Trump was born rich and made his entire career serving the wants of the rich establishment, he is the anti-establishment candidate on the Right because he provides a fierce show of combat!

Rickety Joe Biden, on the other hand, provides a show of comedy as he runs with shortened strides like an old man, trying to prove he can still run even though he can barely toddle up the steps into Air Force One without busting an ankle, or he tumbles sideways on his bicycle to prove how strong he is by how well he can take a face-plant. He is a comedy of errors in speech daily and a man who routinely talks to or shakes hands with ghosts because, when you are that close to heading to the other side, those who have expired ahead of you start arriving to guide you on your next journey. He is just Bidin’ his time.

So today, is news of the has-beens — from banks to presidents — that most of America wishes would just go away!
