David, we have been headed for the global crash for years, why blame Trump. The WEF and the like needed a kick in the teeth. When the on eQuad-Trillion in derivatives explode are you going to blame Trump as well. The world did not need 1000-Trillion of off the book's transactions behind the scenes on a 1% margin. The house of cards will fall. You are a very smart guy or I would not read your stuff. Trump is an easy mark, dig into the real problems please. Trump is a small fish compared to what is waiting around the corner. As always all the best.
I have a better question. Why do you not blame him? Trump is an enormous whale, not small fish: He has attended the WEF in the past, so is a part of that crowd. He is in every way as much to blame as any of the rest of them over all past years for what has happened in the world:
He delivered us massive deficits during his first term. He shut down almost the entire economy, creating economic damage we are still sorting through, especially in real-estate, which, yes, already had problems, but those became enormously worse due to the Covid lockdowns. He created massive trillion-dollar bailout programs to take companies like his own through the shutdowns that he ordered. He gave us a splendid rushed vaccine and doled out absolute immunity to the vaccine creators so they didn’t have to worry about rigorous testing because they are indemnified by law. He gave the bully pulpit to Dr. Faucie every single day and stood right beside him approvingly as he spoke all his nonsense. He ran the swampiest White House I ever saw for four years. Every person he hired back then, he had to fire as an “idiot” and a “moron.” Who’s the bigger moron? Each of the idiots he hired or the idiot who can’t seem to hire anyone but idiots?
So, WHY ON EARTH DO YOU MAKE EXCUSES FOR HIM? That is the real reason we have so many problems. Everyone endlessly makes excuses for their own team or their own guy and tries to blame everything on the other team. So, yeah, the whole economy was a mess that ultimately all was going to come down, but he built as much, if not more, of that rickety structure than anyone. He even constantly pressured Powell to create a lot more of that easy fiat money so he could inflate the bubbles even faster just to look like a president who was good for the economy. Why on earth even try to excuse a track record that bad?
So, I will go as hard on him as all the rest because he did all he could to help create the problem.
Good insights. Linking as usual @https://nothingnewunderthesun2016.com/
