Note: For The Daily Doom to continue, I will need a partner –someone who likes the concept already demonstrated here who wants a ready-made daily newsletter that works this economic niche for his or her own website/audience but who doesn’t have the three hours per day that I spend to put this together – someone who has a much larger audience than the 1,500 per day average that my own site, The Great Recession Blog, has . We can each benefit from my work joined with your audience because I have an eye for this kind of news and have been writing in this field for over a decade on my own blog and on RT, Seeking Alpha, Zero Hedge, Talk Markets, and about fifty other small economic/financial websites.
My own site has brought in about as many free subscriptions as it is going to during its three-month test period, but it is not enough to justify the time spent. However, I think the concept for The Daily Doom is strong if I find a much bigger net to draw in the reader base. You provide the audience of potential subscribers. I provide the daily feature, which is simple like The Drudge Report but more organized, dated, archived, delivered by email and, especially, more focused on economic content. We equally share the ownership rewards in the newsletter.
Readers, in the meantime, are still encouraged to comment here or in the comments section at The Daily Doom to let me know if they are likely to subscribe. If you know someone who has such an audience, please share this offer with them.
