THE DAILY DOOM Is Not Quite Doomed!

But here is the new path on which it will continue ...

[This is just an announcement to my free subscribers, not a publication of The Daily Doom.]

While the four-month launch of The Daily Doom last year here on Substack was not a big enough success once I was ready to go to paid subscriptions to entice me to dedicate so much effort here, I’m going to give The Daily Doom a new spin at life in a new form (sort of) in a new year.

I AM going to discontinue writing it here on Substack for now but will be offering it on my own blog for my blog readers because, at least, I’ll benefit by having additional content for my established audience there. I still hope to find a partner to resurrect it here on Substack someday. So, think of my blog as a placeholder for The Daily Doom’s existence to continue. In the meantime, those who said they would be willing to pay $10 to keep receiving The Daily Doom will be able to continue to benefit from its aggregation of weekday headlines on The Great Recession Blog.

That is so I don’t just leave you out in the cold if you’ve really appreciated this publication. We’ll see if that captures enough interest to be worth continuing beyond January. Thank you for giving it a go here on Substack. I wish it had worked out better, but maybe it will be worth continuing as as content for my blog.
