Sorry, just the headlines today. Spent a good part of the day ironing out all the kinks in my medicare and start of Social Security retirement for both me and my wife, which looked like they were going to be weeks or months late from a deadline that hits in just three days. It looked like we’d be without medical coverage for awhile. However, it sounds like they both may be back on track to start just in the knick of time after a last-minute meeting today.

Just because of curiosity I’d be interested if you found the ‘local’ SS people to be helpful in trying to sort everything out. Becuz as I said before, the local employees (New Bern NC) were all lovely, including management. It was so obvious to me that they were dealing with a totally bloated, broken, and useless system and structure. I can’t imagine that part has changed.
