I think you two do a great job. I guess his thing is he belives the economy is doing great and a recession can't hit in that situation. Where you show it can be some form of stagflation.

I know it always concerns me a bit when I find I am out of synch with him, but I think it won't be long until we know for sure which view is correct.

Wolf seems to disagree with you on the up coming recession. I would have to be more in your camp about how things are going. I know we keep saying this but next year is going to be interesting. Hope you are doing well.

Thanks Chris

Thanks Chris. I've noticed that. He disagrees with me from time to time; and I reference him a lot anyway because he is, at least, an honest broker of the information, and does a lot of good analysis. That said, I haven't seen anything he's disagreed with me on where I feel my projects of where things were going ultimately turned out to be wrong. Sometimes they were not as bad as I thought they would be but only because of massive Fed intervention right at the critical point, which to me only shows how bad they would have been to require such a rescue. I'm not sure, though, if Wolf thinks the recession isn't coming or is just faithfully pointing out the things that don't agree with that view. This time, Fed intervention when the economy falls won't be such a slam dunk with inflation already starting to flare up a little. That kinda cuts off their usual intervention path of throwing more money into the economy. So, it IS going to be interesting.
